The author states in his introduction:
“No doubt the mannerism and the character of the Messenger of Allah (sallahu alayhi wa-sallam) is an example that Muslims generation after generation have tried to emulate, and this is because of the exemplary traits and qualities that Allсh has bestowed upon him. And from these noble characteristics is the manner in which he treated his wives and his children, for the one who ponders on this aspect of his life stands astounded in awe and admiration for this noble Prophet (sallahu alayhi wa-sallam).”

My Sincere Advice to Women by Umm Abdillah al-Waadiyyah (Pre-Order) KES 4,600.00

My sincere Advice to Women by Umm Abdillah al-Waadiyyah. This is the third edition of the book “My Sincere Advice to Women”. It contains corrections and addendum’s that would tackle female matters, especially as most women – May Allaah guide them – are ignorant of the matters of their religion and are inclined to worldly affairs, Hence they can neither distinguish between bad and good nor between lean and fat, and the truth has become mixed up with falsehood to them, thereby the truth becomes falsehood and falsehood becomes truth. This book contains sincere advice to the women, it is followed by questions and answers that were presented to the women and which they undertook the task of answering. I have chosen from one of their responses to be added to the advice to women.

Marital Intimacy According to the Pure Sunnah – Marriage Series (Part-2).
The Muslim Family by Muhammad al-Jibaly.
Publisher: Al-Kitaab & as-Sunnah Publishing.

About the Book:

Marriage holds a position of perpetual significance because of the central role it plays in human life. It is not surprising, therefore, that the scholars of Islam have discussed it extensively through the ages. Under the contemporary influence of non-Islamic cultures, however, misconceptions have crept into various areas of Islam – spilling into marriage, divorce, and other family-related matters.

Viewing the needs of the Muslims who live in non-Islamic environments, and realizing that most Islamic writings on marriage are restricted in scope, we find quite a large gap that needs to be filled for the benefit of the English-speaking Muslims – which is what we attempt to accomplish over the span of this 3-book- set that covers various aspects of marriage according to the authentic Sunnah:

1. The Quest for Love & Mercy.
Regulations for Marriage & Wedding in Islam. Discusses the importance and advantages of marriage, selecting a spouse, the courting process, the marriage contract, celebrating the wedding, the walimah, and forbidden marriages. It provides a practical procedure for performing the marriage contract, and includes a sample marriage certificate.

2. Closer than a Garment.
Marital Intimacy According to the Pure Sunnah. Discusses the proper etiquettes of marital intimacy, forbidden acts of intimacy, zina and birth control. It answers many frequently-asked questions about various acts of intimacy.

3. The Fragile Vessels.
Rights and Obligations between the Spouses in Islam. Discusses the rights and obligations of the two spouses. It includes brief biographies of the Mothers of the Believers, realistic pictures from the life of the Prophet (pbuh) with his wives, and a complete discussion of the hadith of Umm Zar.

The Quest for Love & Mercy (Marriage & Wedding in Islam)

This is one of a 3-book series covering various aspects of marriage according to the authentic Sunnah. Marriage plays a most central role in the human life, and has been largely discussed by the scholars of Islam through the ages, resulting in numerous writings and treatises. Some of those writings, mostly by contemporary scholars, have been translated into English. However, we find them restricted in scope, addressing Muslims who live in predominantly Islamic countries, or overlooking important real issues that have developed under modern civilization. This leaves quite a large gap that needs to be filled for the benefit of the Muslims in English-speaking countries, and this is what we attempt to fulfil over the span of three books.”

Rights of the Spouses KES 2,250.00
Rights of the Spouses
Authored by: Shaykh Sulayman Ruhaylee
Translated by: Rasheed ibn Estes Barbee
About the book: Islam gives importance to every affair of life. Thus, there is not an aspect of your life — O Muslim — except that Islam clarifies and explains it. And this is from its concern for rectifying and unifying the community. And because the rectification of the community follows the rectification of the family, and the unity of the community is a result of the unity of the family, and the happiness of the family is connected to the spouses, Islam gives a great deal of importance to the spouses.
As it relates to the rights of the spouses — O brothers, O beloved — there are rights before the engagement, rights at the time of the engagement, rights at the time of the marriage contract, and rights which remain throughout the affair of marriage.

Covering Healthy Marital Relations and Marital Discord with Evidence from the Book, the Sunnah, and the Statements of the Foremost Scholars
Shaikh Dr. Taqi al-Deen al-Hilali | Al-Rahmaniyyah Press
This precious work shines a bright light on the rights of women in Islam, which are so broadly misunderstood, misrepresented, and outright undermined by people who speak in ignorance about the Shari’ah. The author quotes a key Qur’anic verse in the book: “Women have rights over men similar to the rights which men have over them, all in accordance with the known standards of goodness.” This book comprehensively addresses the topic of a woman’s right to end her marriage by way of a Khul’a,

Concerning this book, the author stated, “I, therefore, see it incumbent upon myself to write a work small in size yet full of knowledge which will bring justice for those who have been oppressed, to uncover [and bring to light] the rights of those who have had them wrongfully taken; so that each spouse knows what Allah has made mandatory upon him or her and so that harsh character is replaced by manners of the highest standard.”

The Marriage And Wedding Guide : According to The Sunnah Of The Prophet (Pre-Order) KES 2,250.00

Allah, the Most High said: “Among His Signs is that He created spouses for you of your own kind so that you may find tranquillity in them. And He has placed love and mercy between you. Verily in that are Signs for those who reflect. Surah Ar-Rum, 30:21

The Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him said, “When a person gets married he has completed half of his religion, so let him fear Allah with regard to the other half.” Bayhaqi, Shu’ab al-Iman, Sh Al-Albaani Hasan Li Ghayrihi, Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb (1916)

Marriage is an important institution in the great religion of Islam. Humans have been created as social creatures, requiring interactions with each other in order to survive. Harmoniously coexisting in love and mercy amongst men and women were created to complement one another in companionship.

The family as a basic social institution is the cornerstone of society, and strong marriages are the basis for strong communities.

Thus, marriage was the way of the previous prophets and messengers, and it was the practice of our noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) and his companions – may Allah be pleased with them all, Ameen. This simple, but important text, covers many aspects of married life which every Muslim must acquaint themselves with. The Sheikh – may Allah have mercy on him – has diligently put together this work, quoting from the Qur’an and authentic Ahadeeth of the Messenger of Allah peace and blessing be upon him. It is a great guide for all those who intend on getting married, as much as it is for those who are already married. Familiarising oneself with this work is a must for every Muslim who wishes to learn and practise the Islamic manners and etiquettes related to marital life. It is a text that no Muslim home or library, should be without.

The Book Of Marriage ( Part - 1,2,3 ) KES 17,000.00
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) reported, the Prophet(ﷺ)said

"A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her class, for her beauty or for her piety. Select the pious, may your hand be rubbed in the dust!"

In this Hadith, this is a reference that men's most desirable marriage purposes revolve around these four. wealth, class, beauty and piety.

There are some benefits in this Hadith:

There is no problem if anyone marries a woman for her wealth because the Prophet (ﷺ) approved this but he urged to marry the religious woman.

There is no problem if the man marries a woman for her class to upgrade himself and his children.

The woman can be married for her beauty. So, there is no problem if she is married for her beauty. Maybe the man likes beauty and cannot stand looking at a woman who is not as men are so different in this respect.

A woman may be married for her piety even if this is the only purpose.

The best one of these purposes is to marry a woman for her piety as he said (ﷺ)

"Select the pious, may your hand be rubbed in the dust."

Everyone should follow the Prophet's advice. However, nowadays, most people marry a woman for her beauty and others for her wealth and class. Are these the only purposes? No, the proof is in the above- mentioned Hadith,

"Marry the one who is fertile and loving."

Compatibility in marriage involves three aspects:

Compatibility in terms of religion, which is divided into two: difference in terms of religion (i.e., belief and disbelief), and difference in terms of religious commitment (i.e., disobedience and obedience). Compatibility in terms of religion is very essential. According to the consensus of Muslim jurists and the dictate of textual evidence, a Muslim woman is not allowed to marry a disbelieving man:

"then, if you ascertain that they are true believers, send them not back to the disbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them." [Sürah Al-Mumtahinah (60):10]

This is because she is superior to him [on the merit of her belief in Islām). An exception is made when a Muslim man is allowed to marry a woman from the People of the Book because the husband here is superior to the woman.

The Qur'anic text states that it is lawful for a believing man to marry a woman from the People of the Book. Allah (Glorified & Exalted is He) says:

"Made lawful to you this day are At-Tayyibât [all kinds of Halal (lawful) foods, which Allah has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, and fruits)].

The food (slaughtered cattle, eatable animals) of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is lawful to you, and yours is lawful to them.

(Lawful to you in marriage) are chaste women from the believers and chaste women from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before your time

when you have given their due Mahr (bridal-money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage), desiring chastity (i.e., taking them in legal wedlock) not committing illegal sexual intercourse, nor taking them as girl-friends." [Sürah Al-Ma'idah (5):5]

However, many Muslim predecessors (Salaf) disliked that a Muslim man marries a woman from the People of the Book if he could marry a Muslim woman.

THE BOOK OF MARRIAGE FROM THE EXPLANATION OF BULŪGH AL-MARĀM PART 3
From the book:

ʿAli Ibn Abū Ṭālib is the cousin of the Messenger (May Allāh exalt his station and grant him peace). Fātimah is the daughter of the Messenger (May Allāh exalt his station and grant him peace),

the most prestigious lady in Paradise (May Allāh be pleased with her) as stated by the Prophet (May Allāh exalt his station and grant him peace). Additionally, the Prophet (May Allāh exalt his station and grant him peace) said about ʿAli (May Allāh be pleased with him):
“You are in the same position with relation to me as Aaron (Hārūn) was concerning Moses but with (this explicit difference) that there is no prophet after me.”
He said this when he delegated him the responsibility of [Madīnah] when Muslims were away in the Tabūk conquest. So, he said: O Messenger of Allāh! You leave me behind with women and children?

The Prophet (May Allāh exalt his station and grant him peace) said the above narration to warm his heart. It is also because Aaron (Hārūn) took Mūsā’s place among his people, as he said:
“Replace me among my people.” [Sūrah ʾAl-Aʿrāf (7):142]
The previous ʾĀyāt explains the following statement: “You are in the same position with relation to me as Aaron (Hārūn) was concerning Mūsā.”
However, as the Prophet (May Allāh exalt his station and grant him peace) feared that anyone would misuse this word and claim that ʿAli is a Prophet like Hārūn, he said:
“but with (this explicit difference) that there is no prophet after me.” This statement highlights the immense protection the Prophet (May Allāh exalt his station and grant him peace) dedicated to the prestige of the Message [of Islām].

Also, he is concerned about the importance of Tawhid (Islāmic Monotheism). Certainly, according to the Qurʾān and the Sunnah, it is well-known that he is the last of the Prophets, and there is no Prophet after him.

The Legislated Divorce KES 1,600.00
Shaikh Badee’-ud-Deen As-Sindi | Sunnah Publishing
The foundational principles of Islaam are based upon justice and rectification, and upon this basis, Islaam has permitted divorce in cases of helplessness. The meaning of this is, if there remains no chance of accommodation between a husband and his wife, then they may release each other through divorce. And Al-Allaamah Aboo Bakr Jasaas Ar-Raazee says, “Our companions have said that the best manner of giving divorce is when it is given after she is purified from the menstruation and without sleeping with her, and then he waits until her ‘iddah has ended. And if he wishes to give three divorces) then each divorce should be given after each (menstrual) purification without sleeping with her, and this is the opinion of Sufyaan Ath-Thawree (d. 167H). And Imaam Aboo Haneefah (d. 150H) said that it has reached him upon Ibraaheem An-Nakha’ee that the companions liked that (one) should not give more than one divorce at one time and the three divorces should be given separately upon each purification.”

About the Author:
Shaykh Badee’-ud-Deen Shaah as-Sindhee is one of the most prominent scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah to come out of Pakistan. In addition to being praised by the likes of Shaykhul-Islaam ‘Abdul-Azeez Ibn Baaz (d. 1420H) and Imaam Muhammad Nasirud-din Al-Albaanee (d. 1420H), he has taught in the Sacred Mosque in Makkah and in Daarul-Hadeethil-Khayriyyah of the same city. Attributes Of The Righteous Wife (Pre-Order) KES 2,500.00

The author says, “The topic of this book, “The Attributes of the Righteous Wife”, isn’t just for the young woman looking forward to marriage and wants to know about the attributes of a good wife in order to adorn herself with those attributes and prepare herself to implement and perfect them. Nor is it merely addressed to the married woman who has already chosen these righteous attributes and wishes to persevere and continue to practice them. Nor is it only for the married woman who fails to fulfil these attributes and falls short in them in order for her to fix herself and rectify her marital life. Rather it is an address and a reminder much more general than all of this.

It is a reminder for the father who wants his daughters as well as any other women under his guardianship to have a good upbringing, an honourable life and an entrance into marital life according to what Allah and His Messenger have intended. This treatise will hopefully aid him in reminding these young women of the legislative guidelines and necessary characteristics that the young Muslim woman must be cultivated upon and look after. This treatise is also a reminder for the mother who is the shepherd of her home, the one responsible for her daughters as their instructor, for surely most women grow up practising that which they saw and heard their mothers doing. It is also a reminder for the callers to Allah to look after this affair, to place importance on this matter and to strive very hard in spreading these virtuous attributes, commendable characteristics and blessed traits….”
