Qisas al-Anbiya' by Sheikh Abd al-Rahman ibn Nasir al-Sa'di (d. 1376 AH) presents the lives and monotheistic missions of the Quranic prophets from Adam to Muhammad (peace be upon them) with remarkable clarity, conciseness, and sound textual grounding. Completely free from unverified Isra'iliyyat and dense historical digressions, it stands as one of the shortest, simplest, and most accessible introductory books to begin with on the subject of Quranic prophetic stories.

Rather than offering a mere chronological chronicle, the author methodically highlights the core theological tenets, moral virtues, and educational guidance derived from each prophet's mission. This concise and practical study is drawn directly from the author's thematic exegesis, Taysir al-Latif al-Mannan fi Khulasat Tafsir al-Qur'an.
